This week has been nothing but exciting and new adventures. As a teacher candidate, you are required to complete placement in various schools for a certain duration of the year. I started my first placement on Wednesday and all I can say is WOW! I was nervous going into a school I've never been before, let alone meeting all the children and staff. As soon as I met my associate teacher and the students walked in to start their day, my nerves disappeared. I cannot wait for the upcoming weeks to start mini lessons and begin my official teacher journey!!! In all schools, being a nut free environment is common. My Genius Hour Blog Hey everyone! My name is Milica (pronounced Melissa) Mrkonjic and I am a first year Consecutive Education (primary/junior) student at Brock University. Ever since I could remember, I've always wanted to become a teacher. I hope to bring my enthusiasm, passion and kindness to every classroom. I am looking forward to this teaching journey and cannot wait to see what my future holds! To learn more about me, feel free to check out my "passionate apple" word art below and/or visit my Pinterest All About Me page.

The best part about having snacks prepped and ready to go to take with me on the go has been a life saver in the morning. I'm the type of person to hit my snooze button five times before I decide its time to get out of bed. So having these baked sweets already ready has been great! I...
